Cartilage heals differently than your flesh. It can take 3-6 months for the nose to heal. Do clean the outside of your piercing with a mild antibacterial soap at least 4 times a day.Use sea salt or saline once a day. For the inside use a cotton swab with the sea salt or saline on it. If you are pierced with a nose screw (stud) BE CAREFUL not to knock the stud out! Make sure you dry the outside of the piercing off. Do keep makeup and loctions and hairspary off the area for at least 4 weeks. Dont remove or change your body jewerly for at least 6 months unless you see them first.

So dont remove it for at least 6 months. It can take longer to heal I have mine done and took mine out for a few days after 6 months. My sister haves her done and after a few years her still closes up on the inside layer and she haves to push it threw. You can check into buying clear retainers.
