Just having a baby a few weeks ago means your body needs more time to normalize before undertaking the task of loosing weight. You should also consider that loosing weight while breast feeding (if you do) is not recommended. Your primary concern should be the care of your baby, not warring about what someone else thinks of you. Your young enough that you will bounce back into shape soon enough. Don't push nature into the box of outside influence. Eat natural whole live foods. Avoid red meat (beef) and saturated fats. Eat well balanced small meals 5 or 6 times a day to speed up your metabolism. After another week or two start a lite excessive routine and work up to jogging 4 or 5 miles in another month or so. Consider exercise swimming, and dance classes, it's excellent at toning down and working many muscles just running or lifting weights can not. Read the info I've provided in the links below.

You just had a baby. Give yourself some time. If you breastfeed and eat healthy you will naturally lose weight. Drink a lot of water and give yourself at least six weeks of no vigorous exercise so you can heal. You can put your baby in the stroller and go for nice walks. Take it easy. You have a lot of work ahead of you with letting your body get readjusted, taking care of a baby, and having to go to school all at the same time. The least thing you need is to worry about your weight. I know from experience, my daughter is now 19 months old. Good luck. If anyone at school says anything about your weight, tell them that you can't wait to see what they look like after just having a baby. That will make them shut-up.

Sweetheart, you have to give your body a chance to re cooperate from having a baby. Give your self another week. Then start walking, doing aerobic tapes, go to a local gym in your area, eat alot of fruits, green vegetables, plain tuna, baked fish and chicken, and drink lots of water. Do some dancing to. Excellent for breaking a sweat and working those muscles in your body. Dancing is also a great way to work of those calories. Excellent for right after you eat. You are still young honey. It is real easy to loose weight at your age. What until you get 28 years old. It is harder to shed the pounds. If you are sincere and work at this everyday, you should loose the weight in no time. P.S.-Don't eat after 6pm. That is when you gain the most weight. Drink tea or alot of water. And you should also go to sleep early to keep you from wanting to eat late. I watched that on Oprah's show. Good luck.

First things first - make sure your diet is right!! Cut out the junk food, and eat regularly...
If youve only just had a baby (or infact are as unfit as me) running is probably not exactly an option. I walk every morning for about 45 mins to an hour.... Take a friend or your mum for company. Even take your baby. It doesnt have to be anything to strenuous.... anything is better than nothing... but i suggest you ease into anything you chose to do... dont over-do it or youll give up!

1200 calories a day. Lots of grilled chicken, salads, and water, Also fruits and veggies. Try to get some sort of exercise for 30 minutes 4 or 5 days a week..... Good luck, pretty girl! : )

well you have alittle less than a month so i would say cut alot of calories out bring it down to 1200 a day and do lots of cardio and try some toning with pilates and yoga. good luck with the weight loss, school and the baby. â¥

well to lose weight just do sit ups or something...and run a lot! that really helps...
ur only seventeen...jeeze isn't that a little young to have a baby? well thats not my buisness...but yea just run and do sit ups and eat right!!! don't eat crap food like McDonalds and taco bell and that stuff! eat healthy stuff like protein and vegtables...idk wat else to tell you
