I live in Alabama, and it's full of inbred Fundie asshats. I am both surprised and pleased that the clowns on the board of education have actually allowed evolution to be included in the curriculum. Do you see Creationist bullshit anywhere in the biology textbooks? Nope, but there's a nice long chapter on evolution! It's good to see that not everyone has been brainwashed.

But you're brainwashed to.

I was brainwashed into believing Pluto was a planet and now they took that away from me.

How you gonna feel when Darwin, like Freud, get's classified a Witch Doctor because some Einstein in biology comes along in 40 years and puts forth an even BETTER theory!

How are all the kids going to feel if what they learned turns out to be false!

So, I've become a pratical person when it comes to science. I have to see it with my own eye.

I go outside I see Jupiter in the West a night right now. Venus in the morning.

I know that's reality.

No matter what they Classify Jupiter or Venus as in 30 years, I still know what they are for I can see them.

You ever seen ANYTHING evolve?

Science hasn't. There is NOT ONE documentary book on the "evolution" of something.

When something does changes, like BIRD FLU VIRUS, they call it a "MUTATION."

Does that mean we're mutants?

Bird flu was the original concantation. It jumps to humans it has mutated.

An Ape was once the original concantation, are humans mutated apes!

I DEFY you to show me ONE recording of a spieces EVOLUTION with gene by gene changes shown with DNA sampling. DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE. Something I CAN SEE WITH MY OWN EYE.

It don't exist.

We're not sure if "ether" exists in the univers. If what is between planets is truly "space" or the Aether or ether.

They don't know.

They don't KNOW if there really is DARK or BLACK matter!

They never went there and took a sample back to the lab for analysis.

The scientists are now in a furor over Pluto's being made a Pluton and so they are taking it to the Supreme Court to try and overturn Pluto's conviction of "not being a planet."

This is REALITY

Science can't decided if it IS or ISN'T a planet.

How are they going to decided where WE came from!

By the way, I just found out a Religious site is offering a $250,000 reward to ANYONE who can prove Evolution.

http://www.drdino.com

You or one of those students in Alabama, see if you can do this and show us the check when you get it! NO ONE, to date, has claimed it!

Gee, where are all the underpaid scientists out there! This is one heck of a grant check!

To top it off, the lucky FIRST person to PROVE evolution will proably also get considered for a Nobel Prize.

If you spent a little, just a little time looking at the Creation, you could see there is no way we or anything evolved. Just the fact that our blood clots only when is has to is a miracle in disign. How many would have bleed to death before we could decide how to evolve to do that, all? Look at a wolf and a poodle, evolution? NO they are both dogs, you can breed the two and still get a litter, but you can't breed a cat and a dog even though their DNA is so closely matched. Designed that way but go right ahead, let them pull the wool over your eyes, Satan., love those people.

no. evolution is based on the theory that every living thing came from one cell or sumthing and that has flaws.
1) where did the cell we evolved from come from?
2) evolution requires an increase in genetic information, which means that there has to be an increase in our dna. however, all genetic mutations so far are either a loss of DNA or a repeat of it. therefore, if evolution is real, it would mean we had too much dna to begin with. which disproves the theory of evolution.

oh.. and you're talking as though young people are so easily deceived. please i'm a teen and i'm not brainwashed into thinking evolution is real and so are my classmates/

Bad news, Dude!
I live in Alabama, too...and guess what? We have the textbooks we're supposed to have...and we still teach our kids what we believe.
I know it's a shame...but you know, I really don't think any of those "fundie asshats" are gonna call in the ACLU.
There are even schools in Alabama where the kids still pray...yep, in school, and as a group!
Imagine that!!
Sorry to disillusion you, but there are places in this country where God is still on the throne.
Oh, yeah...we still celebrate CHRISTmas here...with the manger and babe in front of the courthouse AND at the public park.
And STILL nobody has called the ACLU!!

No, it's not great.

Try doing a non-biased study on the subject.

I'm sure you don't beleive everything that people tell you, and that you are probably a fair minded person. So I encourage you to look at the facts and draw your opinion from there, not from a one-sided veiw point.

Good luck!

Ya know, I don't mind it being taught, it is important for kids to know about that stuff even though it's only a theory. It shapes communism, humanist thought, and liberalism. So then they can go out and fight it and vote for freedom and tradition. And go to church to learn the truth of Creation.

Our children can be taught better things in science besides a bunch of crappy lies. They need to learn real science!!!!!

Amen, brother. But here in Tenn, they still read Bible scriptures at the start of school each day. And we have the Ten Commandments in the courthouses.

Finally.

We need some real facts in the minds of the youth. Some understanding of the magnificent REAL processes that are taking place on our planet as we speak, and that have been taking place since time began here on earth.

Enough of the creationist bulls hit.

Well, all the really important people (doctors, scientists, geologists, nobel prize winners, paleontologists, etc) are the ones who don't argue what's already been proven.

It's only the ones who think evolution is fabricated, like the religious morons out there who haven't really studied the materials, are the ones who dispute it.
