I am really shy most of the time. This cute guy sits on the other side of the room, and i have no idea how to get to know him! I can't just walk to him at the beginning of class-i guess i can. it'll be awkward, though.

Any tips on how to approach him? and when?

if you guys happen to make eye contact in class give him a sexy smile and evey once in a while glance over to see if he's looking at you...if he does then he's interested and if he doesn't then he's not. Chances are that he will remember you smiling at him and won't stop thinking about it. After class go up to him and introduce yourself...if he doesn't come up to you first! you said you were shy...well this might take some guts but if you really want to meet him then your gonna have to risk it. wats the worst that can happen!?!

p.s. the sexy smile thing really works! lol

Sorry you feel like you are being ignored on here..

Best advise is to find away to approach him, be yourself and take it slow. Eventually you will see that approaching a guy is perfectly acceptable and not that hard. Just say hello, maybe if you need help with a certain problem, homework, etc.

Good luck

Go up to him and say hi if he says hi back then ask if he has seen what ever the latest movie that everyone is waiting to see. The conversation should start after that. It's that simple just like talking to anyone just because he is a guy don't mean anything he is aperson like you and me. You are going to meet alot of people in your life some will like you and some wont and visa versa. So start by saying hi and smile not a big smile just a little one like when you see something very pretty.

You walk up to him and you say, "Are you taking Spanish? I thought I saw you leaving that class yesterday. I'm thinking about taking that subject. Do you like it?" Substitute any class you want. The idea is to see how he reacts to you. If he's friendly, keep talking. If not, say, "I guess I was mistaken" and move on. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Well just start with Hi, most of the time you get a "hi" back. Introduce yourself. It may seem a little awkward, but you never know until you try.

Think of a question to ask him. That way it doesn't look obvious but it gets you noticed. Make sure and make eye contact and appear confident when you approach (even if you feel like you're gonna hurl), chances are he feels unsure about approaching girls too.

Simple , go near him n drop your books. He will help u take the books. Than say 'Hi' n walk with me to class. Then ask him if he is free after school to be his study partner .If he ask a reason tell him that u are weak in that subject .
Then after two weeks ask him out 4 a date.

You only live once, take some action girl. Or someone else will and you won't have a chance. Maybe he is shy too, just talk to him. Say hi at least. What do you have to loose? NOTHING

Just walk up to him (either before class or after) and talk about something from class. Pretend like you didn't get something the teacher was saying and ask him for his opinion.
The easiest way to talk with someone is when you can talk about a subject (or sports) you both know.

As 'NIKE' would say......just do it!

Catch on the way out of class, that way if it doesn't go as you planned it, you won't be embarrased all through class. Just ask him what he is doing later, if he wants to study with you, go to the movies, etc. Be confidant, guys like that.
