You're getting two lines of advice in response to your question. Some people are recommending point & shoots where you can stack a specialty lens on top of the permanent lens, and other people are recommending digital SLR cameras, where the lens is completely interchangable. In short, people are recommending just about every digital camera ever made.
Keep in mind that the ability to change lenses isn't really a requirement in itself - it's something that enables you to take certain types of shots.
Which system and specific model is right for you, depends on what you want to use the camera for, and on your budget. If you add this information to your question, we can give you a much more relevant answer.

The Canon Powershot A20 (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=12072) has the ability to change lenses. Canon may have other models in the PwerShot line with the same ability in a lower price range. There aren't a whole lot of lenses for the camera - I've seen a wide-angle lens and a close-up lens, for about $100 each.

There are plenty out there in the form of an SLR digital camera. Just do a product search on one of those product comparison websites with reviews and price comparisons as well to help you make an informed decision. Keep in mind that these detachable lenses can be as much or more than the camera itself.

It would need to be a digital SLR, I think you can get a Canon one in the uk for around £400 which isn't too bad for an SLR camera.
