I take it you mean you are not getting any fire out of the plug. You could have a bad plug or a bad wire. First take the wire off at both ends and look for visible evidence of corrosion. If you can't see any corrosion or bulges in the wire try trading it with another wire and see if the lack of spark switches to where you put that wire. Next check the plug. It it doesn't have a nice chocolate color to it and is fouled, you might have a problem with oil foiling to that plug. If it looks super clean you might also have a defective plug. You can also check the plug the same way as the wire.

you need gas and spark to make an engine start, first id check to see if you are getting fuel to your fuel rails[there is usually a bleeder on them that looks like a valve stem on a tire] if you are getting fuel to the rails it could be bad injectore or no spark.. to check spark you can buy a tester to do that or do it the redneck way by pulling the plug wire off of the #1 plug, sitck a metal screw driver in the end touching the metal inside , make sure the screw driver has a good plastic or rubber handle, hold the screwdriver and wire close to something metal like a fende or something away from the battery, and have a helper crank over the vehicle a couple times and watch for arcing spark... if no spark check your coil, if spark at the coil change plugs and wires

I fear something is wrong with your brain.
OOPs, sorry. NOT YOUR brain, the one on the Jeep.
ECU, stands for Engine Control Unit.
That is the master control module that regulates the fuel and the spark and a bunch of other stuff. It most likely will need to be replaced. It will most likely have to go to the dealer to be tested to be certain it is the ECU.
You might be able to get one at an auto parts store but I think the dealer will have to "flash" the instructions and vehicle inormation into it.
Call some auto parts stores and ask if they even have them in stock. Next call some neighborhood shops and ask if they can change the engine controller.
wish you good luck. Hope you have towing on either your auto insurance or AAA,

YOU HAVE IT BACKWARDS THE IGNITION IS NOT SENDING SPARK TO THE SPARK PLUGS MORE THAN LIKELY ITS THE CRANK SENSOR MOUNTED ON THE REAR OF THE ENGINE THERE IS A HOLE IN THE TRANSMISSION BELL HOUSING THAT THE SENSOR SLIDES INTO AND IT GETS ITS READING OFF OF THE FLY WHEEL PARTS LESS THAN $50 BUCKS
