I was in a similar situation 12 years ago. I was dissatisfied with Christianity. I decided to leave the question open for a while and think about what I actually expected from a religion. That gave me a skeleton of my convictions. After a few months I then had a look at what other religions have to offer. When I got in touch with Buddhism, everything just fell into place naturally.
I'm not saying that you should convert to Buddhism (it might be the biggest jump from Islam), but you might go through the same process and find what is right path for you.
If you're interested in Buddhism, you'd still have a lot to learn (judging from your comments about it).
But maybe you don't want a religion at all? I guess you should answer that question first..

Hello, my opinion is to become Atheist. I have only had experience being Atheist, so I cannot compare what living other beliefs is like.
I can, however, say that religion was made by ancient humans to explain happenings in nature that their non-developed brains and limited technology could not understand. I can also say that more wars have been caused throughout history because of religion and belief in a higher power.
Also, one last word before I go. There were religions that lasted longer than most modern religions have been around for. We now call them Mythology because no one believes in them anymore. Isn't it possible that one or two thousand years from now that people will say "Christian Mythology" or "Muslim Mythology"? The only belief that will pass the test of time while also building confidence in yourself is Atheism.
I guess I didn't say much about atheism, all I can say is that I feel very good, I have a lot of confidence in myself, I feel more secure (no diety is watching my every move), and no one can call me hypocrytical. Many religions have been called "brainwashing" or "fairy tales", but Atheism has been accused of nothing, nothing non-religious that is. There is also such thing as an Atheist in a foxhole! :)
And don't worry about Holidays, celebrate whatever you want. I celebrate Christmas and Easter and Halloween and all that stuff, but more as fun, family-oriented days rather than recognition of an event.
Thanks for reading this.

Frankly my dear I dont care a damn of whether you wish to convert or not..
But that was the most silliest reason to change religion just because of pork-laced pepperoni. I take pepperoni with anything but pork.
congratulations for choosing buddhism..and you are later told to abstain from meat and stick to vegetables only.... then what? And who told you will reappear as a human being on reincarnation ? You could well turn up as a burnt-out giant pepperoni.

You have 2 problems.....
#1 If you dont like religious requirements youre not going to like any religion because they all have them by virtue of being a religion.
#2 All religions cannot be correct, so it matters which you pick. Since there can be only 1 religion that God has revealed the truth through, your choice better be good one!
I suggest Christianity because Jesus was an amazing figure who ushered in a new era for humanity. He was the Son of God and has done many miracles and God the Father even raised him from the grave as a sign to all humanity. To this day, skeptics have not been able to disprove the empty tomb. Jesus' body was dead as a doornail, sealed in a tomb, and guarded by roman soldiers yet he still rose from the dead and escaped death so that all might be saved through his ministry!

So you were a Muslim because everyone else in the country was? It sounds pretty obvious that you never studied Islam or any other religion as an educated adult. I guess you should pick your religion based on suggestions posted in an internet forum. Or better yet pick up any Holy book and read, then choose. Why not start with the Qu'ran?

Pray to Jesus to be born again to open your mind...good luck

"I was born in a country where most population are muslims so i was kinda one of them not religious though" this is what you said.
1- You were BORN into a muslim country: Meaning you didn't grow up AS A MUSLIM. You did not study the Quran & Sunnah, you just practised what you saw others practise! so when somebody said not to eat that; you thought "oh now what? what is wrong with them? You thought that Islam is just telling you no , no, no. you never cared to find out why? why? & why?
2- You were a kind of them: Meaning NOT THEM, sometimes you would stay with them, sometimes you will talk about them, Either YOU DO NOT HAVE A PERSONALITY OR YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG and in Islam these are the features of MUNAFIQ (two faces) not a true Muslim.
3- Not religious though: Meaning you may pray or worshipand do good deeds when others are present, and when you are alone you leave all this as long as nobody sees you. You do things for the sake of people, you are afraid of what they will say. But you didn't know that you are watched from above. Your deeds and says are all heard and seen by somebody other than those people.
I'm sure that you are not a true Muslim, you are just a blind follower.
Anyway Just convert to Christianity or Judisum or Hindusum and then you will still face some do and don't and if you don't care to find out why then you will certaily want to change to something else. You will keep on jumping from one place to another as long as you cannot obey any rule. You are just looking for self satisfication even though it would be through a wrong way.
You should know one thing that Allah the creator knows what he creates and he surely knows what will harm you. Therefore, he says do and don't. When you make a mechine don't you put a catalogue saying follow this instructions? Well only the manufacturer can do it, the costumer cannot decide it by himself ..right?
The reason YOU don't eat pig is just because it is oily?!! Don't you know the other reason why Allah forbide eating pig? well read this.
The fact that consumption of pork is prohibited in Islam is well known. The following points explain various aspects of this prohibition:
1. Pork prohibited in Qur’an
The Qur’an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places. It is prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115.
"Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah." [Al-Qur’an 5:3]
The above verses of the Holy Qur’an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why pork is forbidden.
2. Pork prohibited in the Bible
The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
"And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you".
"Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you."
[Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
"And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass."
[Deuteronomy 14:8]
A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.
3. Consumption of pork causes several diseases
The other non-Muslims and atheists will agree only if convinced through reason, logic and science. Eating of pork can cause no less than seventy different types of diseases. A person can have various helminthes like roundworm, pinworm, hookworm, etc. One of the most dangerous is Taenia Solium, which is in lay man’s terminology called tapeworm. It harbours in the intestine and is very long. Its ova i.e. eggs, enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. If it enters the brain it can cause memory loss. If it enters the heart it can cause heart attack, if it enters the eye it can cause blindness, if it enters the liver it can cause liver damage. It can damage almost all the organs of the body.
Another dangerous helminthes is Trichura Tichurasis. A common misconception about pork is that if it is cooked well, these ova die. In a research project undertaken in America, it was found that out of twenty-four people suffering from Trichura Tichurasis, twenty two had cooked the pork very well. This indicates that the ova present in the pork do not die under normal cooking temperature.
4. Pork has fat building material
Pork has very little muscle building material and contains excess of fat. This fat gets deposited in the vessels and can cause hypertension and heart attack. It is not surprising that over 50% of Americans suffer from hypertension.
5. Pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth
The pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth. It lives and thrives on muck, faeces and dirt. It is the best scavenger that I know that God has produced. In the villages they don’t have modern toilets and the villagers excrete in the open air. Very often excreta is cleared by pigs.
Some may argue that in advanced countries like Australia, pigs are bred in very clean and hygienic conditions. Even in these hygienic conditions the pigs are kept together in sties. No matter how hard you try to keep them clean they are filthy by nature. They eat and enjoy their own as well as their neighbour’s excreta.
6. Pig is the most shameless animal
The pig is the most shameless animal on the face of the earth. It is the only animal that invites its friends to have sex with its mate. In America, most people consume pork. Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives; i.e. many say "you sleep with my wife and I will sleep with your wife." If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs. We Indians look upon America to be very advanced and sophisticated. Whatever they do, we follow after a few years. According to an article in Island magazine, this practice of swapping wives has become common in the affluent circles of Bombay.

Go beyond belief and use beliefs as tools to get a real experience, like in Zen. Buddhism does NOT have reincarnation; it has 'rebirth' which is NOT about 'you' coming back. Note that it's kinda silly to just go around and adopt a belief system in order to make your own reality here -- instead, again, use a belief system as a set of tools for finding out for yourself.

Seek for the truth. I would ask you to try the Bible to know the true God, the Creator of heavens and earth.
Here are free Bible lessons: http://www.amazingfacts.org/school/af_logon.asp
You don't lose anything, so try it; you wont' repent.
By the way, pepperoni is actually pork.
May God bless you and guide you to the truth
