I was in the military, as was my dad and my two brothers. Because of this, I enjoy the military rooms on yahoo.

A few nights ago, I started using a mic in the rooms. I went into one room and asked (thru my mic) "are there men in here who would be interested in chatting?"

I was immediately told that I was not wanted in the room and to go away. I was cursed at (I didn't curse back) and chopped to "bits." (by thier words)

Maybe they thought I was a talking "bot." I have no idea what happened, but i actually had a bit of a problem going to sleep that night because I couldn't believe that people could be so rude!

I am not a young kid, nor am I elderly (although some of the "young" kids might think I am)

I was just curious if any of you have run across this and what you did.

Any similar stories out there?.(I am not looking for advice...just your stories).

(And as a side note, I have been online since 1996, so I am NOT a newbie to chat.).

I know how you feel. I once posted an innocent question on a forum for my favorite dog breed and was completely overwhelemed by the critical responses! People were so mean and harsh, and I had no idea why. It left me a little bit shaken, even know it was all online.

i'm rather finding forward to this Ashes series and easily have not thoroughly written the Aussies off. in spite of this England might desire to bypass into the series as overwhelming favourites through modern-day variety and the reality that the series is being performed in England. I reckon Chris Rogers could be in simple terms a splash a gloomy horse as he's time-honored with of the situations over right here extraordinarily plenty. stable to be certain some friendly banter flying around between the two instruments of supporters too!

That's life! Get over and on with it! You can't do anything about it. There will always be rude people on the planet. By the way, am I rude?
