there are countless fulfilled prophecies and facts that are correct geographicaly and chronologicaly as well as logically. Tyre's destruction is one of them, Noah's Ark is another, the ark lays today where the bible said it did over 2000 years ago, Jesus's life alone fulfilled over 40 major pgophecies ofthe old testament, statistically a mans life fulfilling 40 prophecies that were predicted 700 years before his birth is 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000. But its hopeless, the defenition of an "athiest" is someone who refuses to believe in God, no matter how concrete proff is they will act ignorent torwards it, dont bother they do not have the mental capacity to accept these facts

I actually started to read that site. I had to stop though to come back to you. First of all it says that it is saying that "I am God." so there is proof that it was written by God. So if I write a book and say "I am the almighty God and I have come to take you to Heaven." does it make it true? Of course not. Anyone can write a book saying "I" but that doesn't make it true. Then there is the part about the bible says that people were going to doubt it was real and here we are just trying to prove it wasn't real. Well people act like Harry Potter stories are real and they say they aren't real. People still say that that is actual witchcraft and it is evil but it isn't a true story no matter how you look at it. Then it talks about how this city will be destroyed and so it has to be true. However, that place is still there. If it was going to be destroyed, don't you think your God would have done a better job of it so the bible would at least appear more credible? I mean if I wanted people to believe what I wrote as the almighty truth and I said a city was going to be destroyed, I would make sure that city was destroyed for sure. I had to stop after that. I was laughing too hard to continue reading. All that was proven by that article is that people will believe anything that they read no matter what.

Cleaned it off like the top of a rock, did He? I believe that the city is still there. I don't want to be presumptuous, but I think that the citizens of Tyre would disagree that this prophecy has been fulfilled.
If you're going to hang your hat on that to prove the Bible is true, you just did the opposite.
Keep tryin', Bibleboy. The end justifies the means, eh?

And did you know that that perticular area of the mediterranian is at the boundry of three tectonic plates and during that time (and still is) undergoing massive earthquakes; lets not forget that many cities in egypt, greece and the eastern seaboard of the Med have disapeared under the massive amount of silt deposited by Tsunami's resulting from the earthquake. Give me a break, I actually went to this area of the Med and studied the rocks for signs of Tsunami's and guess what; the place is littered with evidence.

People of fragile faith always fall back on the inability to disprove the bible as it's proof. In science that would be considered its greatest weakness. The fact that, under no circumstances, could you ever disprove the "theory" is based on the fact that it is rooted in faith not fact. You'll usually see quotes like, "but in the bible it says,'and Jesus said I am the only God,' as proof that Jesus is real. Which would be like saying, "In the Hobbit Proto says the ring is real..." Well, there you have it, it must be real and we should all spend our lives looking for it!!
People of fragile faith need the bible to be taken literally. And so they need to pick on evolution and anyone who questions what is found in the bible. However, people of solid faith know that the greatest strength of the bible lies in reading it as parable and metaphor. That's where the true message of god comes from- otherwise you have a weak, confusing, often contradictory story that causes strife among those who can't agree on what one passage means (how many ways can you read "thou shall not kill"?).
So stop trying to prove whether the bible is true or not. That is wholly irrelevant. Read it for what it is- a great, inspired guide which, by way of parables teaches great lessons, but which should never be deconstructed to try to understand what each line means.

Does is the existance of Jerusalem prove the Bible? Certainly not. The occasional piece of historical accuracy in the Bible doesn't make up for the numerous historical and scientific errors the Bible also contains.

People have been trying to predict the end of time for hundreds of years. What makes you think your any smarter?
It says in the bible, I will come like a thief in the night.
I take that as nobody will know! Not even you!
Hey here is something new! Maybe its a sin to predict! That could be trying to second guess God! Think about it. All it says is be prepared. Nothing about predicting. Are you trying to play God? Hey! I may have started something new here!

Gees.. Dude.. Look its really admirable that you want to prove the bible is real.. But you cant.. There is no possibly way for you to prove that the bible is real and that god existed...
Dude man kind cant even say with 100% certainty what wiped out the dinosaurs, and they were around how many thousands of years AFTER god.. so if we cant prove something that happened a billion years ago.. How do you expect them to prove something that happened 20 billion years ago (just using numbers ppl, they are not based on fact)
Prophecy.. Ever since man has tried to prove the bible is real, ANY world event you have tried to tie it to the bible.. If something happenes in the world.. JESUS IS COMING JESUS IS COMING.. Do you believe in aristotle (cant spell) the guy who predicted things? Well people who believe in his predictions are constantly trying to tie world events to them.. Its what happens.. when you are constantly trying to prove the existance of something you will forever say EVERYTHING has to do with it..

The bible was written by men in ancient times, of course they are going to talk about the places that existed then. Keep reading your history books. "An eye for an eye" was taken from the Code of Hammurabi written in 1780 BCE. The Great Flood was in Gilgamesh which was written in 2000 B.C.E.
