If you don't know what to say to women, check out the book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus." When my son's girlfriend broke up with him a friend told him to read that. He said he saw where he'd been doing everything exactly the wrong way. It was too late for that girl, but when he met his next one, it helped him to understand how to communicate with a woman so they could understand each other and not make the other person mad, and they are happily married now!

Yes it is true some guys should just keep their mouths shut. But you know, if a nice, kind, happy guy wants to talk to women and doesn't know what to say. So he says nothing and just sits in the background saying nothing. Instead of getting practice and just saying something, anything will do. But you should maybe not try to flatter (oh that is a nice outfit or something - thats boring and cliche) as that is iffy and some what cheesy. Try to find something in common. Both like to cook, travel, watch movies, taking the same class (oh excuse me miss, did we happen to have homework?), etc. If you have common ground then you can say hey, want to do that with me? Of course if you are taking a human sexuality course, you might want to find something else in common.....Works every time for me on guys! Good luck dude!

no, especially if you like the woman, it is cowardice if you just shut up!!!! you will never know if she also likes you, learn to face rejection if ever because it is a part of ones life
go take your chances atleast you tried it is better than not saying anything> because if you dont say anything youre letting your chance slip away some girls just really want to see the guy make a move first
but when you speak try not to come too strong or too arrogant always try speaking in a friendly accomodating manner

Yes and no. Even if you are shy and awkward around women it does not mean that you cannot be a fresh and welcome addition to normal conversations. Speak normally, as though you weren't trying to impress or get the attention of anyone.

Depends on the situation. I prefer honesty...if it's an awkward moment, joke about it and say "Wow this is an awkward moment, isn't it?" or even tell the woman that you don't know what to say or you're uncomfortable sometimes, shy, etc..
Honesty goes a long way.
