It has always been a mans job. Women in the home, men at work. Look how long it took women to get their rights as citizens. Change is slow. But we are almost there and with Mrs. Clinton's enthusiasm and determination I think that we might be close to having a woman president. I don't think that we in the US are so afraid of a woman being president, but it has always been a mans position. It's great to say that we need a woman in the White House but to actually work for it and get it done is another whole project. I'm ready are you?

I don't think it is that US citizens (I am one myself) are afraid to have a female president, it is just that the people who vote tend to vote for men. It has even been shown that women don't even vote for women. I don't know why, maybe that's due to stereotypes, or the fact that we've never had a female president so voting for one would seem out of the ordinary. Women make up slightly over 50% of hte US population, so it would make sense that there would be a female president. But also remember that there are women in high places of political power, such as the secretary of state, presidential advisors, and members of the congress and senate.

who said anything about being affraid ???? the fact that the women that have run have not presented well enough to get enough votes. if the country was affraid they would have laws again to bann such a thing and we dont and eventually we will as will evetually we will have a black president..... but like the saying goes if you dont like this country pick out the one you like more and leave we are sure we can get you a one way ticket for free to those who hate this country..........

The USA isn't afraid, it's just that vote for males. If Condoleeza Rice ran for president, I will vote for her.
