If you are talking about water after a bath, just dab at their ears with the towel. Don't poke cotton swabs inside. There really isn't any need to do so and you could damage their ear drum.
If they truly have water in the ear, just hold them as you normally would but with their head so that the ear is facing down. It will drain out of it's own accord. Then reverse the baby's position for the other ear.

If you think it's a huge problem, call the doctor. You should never stick anything in your baby's ear. I would think the water will come out on it's own though.

Drop and add some more water into ear and take them out together by turning down .

i dont know if it is good for a baby but i use a hair dryer to get water out of my ears.

Turn them on the opposite side and the water should drain out.
