I read about the benefits of massaging my dog. I tried it tonight and he seemed to enjoy it. Does anyone else do this??

It is just as benefical to dogs as it is to us. Just gently scratch and massage. My dogs go to sleep when I give them massages.

A doggie massage is a great way to bond with a dog. They love it and remember the affection for life.

I have heard great things about massaging your dog. I have 5 dog living with me right now, so its hard to give each of them a lot of personal time (they all get so jealous and stick there faces in my hands while i petting the others!) I know too that there are people who get paid top dollar to massage other peoples dogs, so there must be something right about it!!

Yes...I do it to my dogs as well as our horses.
If you have ever had a massage, you are awaree of how relaxing and wonderful they feel. With animals (all I have delt with) it is the same for them.

My dogs love it. My one dog is so hyper, my mom had him "trained" after she let them out, he would run, jump on the bed, roll over on his side and wait for his massage. He used to run in and jump/tackle her.........

i do it helps your dog feel better about you touching him and you will then know if something is different, i found a bump once and it turned out to be something that got stuck in him outside and we had to get it taken out.
