It' nothing extreme...just an indoor place. I was just wondering about some things, like if long pants are required since there are harnesses, and such. Thanks!

Long pants aren't required, but sometimes it's suggested because your knees scrape against the wall when you're climbing and can start bleeding. It's really a preference thing.

Other than that, look at any outdoor outfitter site online for the technically-correct clothes. It's all based on preference, but the key is to wear comfortable, loose-fitting (non-constraining) items when climbing so you have a good range of movement. Synthetic shorts and a stretchy t-shirt are what I wear. On the opposite end of the spectrum, some climbers wear tight stretching materials similar to bicycle shorts. After a while you'll figure out what you prefer. The rock wall place will probably rent the shoes along with the harness. (Rock climbing shoes are a must! And wear them with really thin socks.)

Since you're indoors climbing, the climate will be controlled so you could probably get away with cotton, but I'd suggest you wear all synthetic materials... which is really par for the course in any kind of sport. It wicks away moisture and keeps you cool and dry. Stay away from denim jeans... they're usually either too tight or too loose... as well as too heavy and they don't help anything if you start to sweat a lot... which you probably will because climbing is physcially exerting.

Some of my favorite outfitter sites to check:

I've been rock-climbing a few times, and generally I just wore jeans, shoes with good grip, and a comfortable shirt. But I'm pretty low-maintenance.

Shorts are fine. Most women wear a sports bra and shorts over something sort of like bike shorts.
The most important thing to wear are the right shoes.

Go for a pair of shorts that allow you freedom of movement, and a t-shirt.
