Sounds like your dog has a skin rash or condition that needs to be addressed by visiting a Vet!
Could be sensitive or allergic to something the dog comes into contact with.
Moisture is a good environment for bacteria and fungal infections! Not sweat! Could be the irritated skin oozing.
I highly recommend this is something you need to take the dog to the vet for!

Dog's don't sweat from their body, only from there pads and nose. It sounds like your dog could have a low thyroid. A low thyroid causes oily looking fur, itchy red and flakey skin, bad odor, and sometimes moist smelly ears. Try taking him to the vet and get a blood test called a T4. If the thyroid is low it can be treated with a really cheap medication called levothyroxine.

Dogs do not sweat except on the nose and foot pads. If he is wet there, it is probably from biting there. Fleas are know to gather on a dogs lower back and shoulders cox that is the only place the dog can't scratch.
Bathe him first and use a dip. Wait tilll his back has no open scratches, then apply Frontline to his shoulders. It will prevent fleas for one month.
Let the vet check this if it continues.
Good luck and thanks for caring about your pet.

Dogs don't sweat as we do. They sweat out of their tongues. It' wet because it is trying to help itself by rolling in water.Your dog needs a major flea treatment. Treat it and bathe it and your problem will be gone

Take your dog to a vet NOW. Perhaps the 'sweat' is an allergic reaction to fleas.

Dogs don't sweat. Take him to a vet and use an oatmeal dog shampoo with an oatmeal and water rinse. It helped my baby (doggy), who has allergies.

Sounds like he/she has an allergy. Take your poor suffering dog to the vet soon. I'm sure your pooch would if it could.
