The oldest redwood tree ever recorded is in Humboldt, California: 2,200 years old (see source 1 and 2).

However this is not the oldest tree ever. The oldest tree on record is a bristlecone in Wheeler Park, Nevada that was unfortunately cut down by mistake and determined (by tree rings) to be 4,862 years old. (source #3).

The oldest living tree is a bristlecone called "Methuselah" in the White Mountains of California. Estimated to be 4,789 years old.
