The proper method is immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ (see Acts 2:38). It is the only way that you can have your sins washed away. any other way is just getting you wet.

While that is a very good and reasonable question you will get different answers and sometimes very passionate answers. It really depends upon a persons interpretation of scripture or the Church doctrine for the church they choose to attend and believe in. There is ample evidence, from Scriptures, that John the Baptist immersed Jesus Christ when he was Baptized but many faithful and true believers experience sprinkling as their Baptismal experience. The important thing is that you have identified yourself with Christ's death, burial and resurrection into the new life. I personally feel that immersion is the Biblical way of Baptism but do not feel that anyone that was sprinkled and Baptized in a Methodist or Catholic church has not experience a valid Baptismal. Many thought are so fundamental that unless you are Immersed or Baptized in their particular religion or church that you are not saved. This I do not believe or accept.

Baptism by full immersion of the body in water. That is the ONLY way the scriptures teach. Remember baptism signifies burial and resurrection with Christ (meaning old life gone = buried when one goes down in the water and new life = resurrection when one comes back out of water.)

Baptism with water in the name of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). Jesus instructed that we baptise in the name of the Trinity, and since the word "baptism" means to wash the rite is done with water. As to baptism, we follow the instructions of Jesus, not St. Paul. Jesus is our ultimate authority here.

Peter materials perception as he reported that once you communicate, it may be the comparable as though God is talking and once you act, it may be the comparable as though God is appearing. Your want is to be precisely as God in all your movements or you're appearing on devil's behalf. while combating a habit, it may desire to get replaced with the suited action. do not purely pray and ask, yet learn and do what's powerful until eventually it feels suitable. It won't in the start on account which you're intimate with sin. get up, wreck out, substitute your concepts, do some thing else. notwithstanding is noble, sturdy, honorable, etc...think of on those issues. yet in addition do those issues instead of the movements of devil.

Total immersion in water, just as Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. He was grown, He was not an infant, and He knew why He was doing it.

Total immersion, but remember that the thief on the cross was promised heaven that very day. Don't get rigid or rigermortice over this.

water baptism by emersion, but really baptism is a symbol like circumcision was, if immersion isn't done that doesn't make it ineffective.
