I'm 13, my mom worries a lot about my breasts and don't want boys staring at me.I'm a C cup, so, she makes me wear bras that give much support and no see-through. I agree, but she goes overboard. The bras she makes me wear are at http://www.anita.com/de/en/0,1,104,1478,39236__products-detail.htm They have 4 rows of hooks in the back. Though hey are good quality bras, I don't like them, they are confining and hot. Not the bra a 13 yo would enjoy, right? But I have no way out. I did EVERYTHING I could for her to let me wear other bras, but she didn't back off and no one else succeeded either. She says it's for my best and is out of love. I know, but, don't like those bras. She's nice, we have a wonderful relationship and I'm afraid if I rebel or disobey our relationship can be damaged. Is it worth fighting over this bra thing? Since she wont really change her mind, how can I live with those bras? When it's hot they make me sweat Will my friends tease me If I dont rebel?

What kind of bra do you want exactly? I don't think it's appropriate for a 13 year old girl to want or need a sexy looking bra. Also, it's important that you have good support while you're still developing your breasts - so that they don't sag when you get older. Your mother is trying to do what's best for you and it sounds like you are trying to respect that.

How about arranging a mother-daughter shopping trip together. Maybe the two of you can reach a compromise on what she thinks is best for you and the kind of bra you want. Try one on that she likes, and you get to choose one that you like. Maybe after that, you can find something in the middle that both of you can live with. Explain to her why you don't like this bra - perhaps you can try a sports bra or something simpler that will help your skin breathe better.

Also, perhaps try talking to your mom about what age she thinks will be appropriate for you to pick out your own bra. I do think that at 13, you should do what your mom says. But by age 16, you're probably old enough to pick out your own bra.

It sounds like you and your mom have an otherwise great relationship. Why would you want to rebel? If they are really your friends, they wouldn't tease you. Plus friends come and go but your mother is there for you forever.

Your friends will tease you no matter what and they are not your friend if they can make you turn against your mother. The reason your mother makes you wear such bra is because of breast support. Wait until you are old enough to change your bras yourself take the support while you can. Talk to your mother and let her know how you feel about the bras but keep wearing them for the support. You are young and don't need to break your breast down before time.

I think a compromise is a good idea. Yes, you are 13, but it is your body and not your mothers. If no one sees these bras, and she knows that, she should let you wear what makes you happy. They have tasteful bras that aren't grandma style! Another user suggested a bra by Curvation, and I agree this could be a good choice. By the way your mother sounds, I think she'd "approve" of one of these bras, and I don't think you'd be unhappy wearing one. They're comfortable and look nice too. Just go to http://www.curvation.com and you can see the bras there. They also have an assortment of colors, other than your basic white. :)

clarify to her that to her that the bras at the instant are not gentle. Ask to be equipped with the help of a professional. those are modern-day in severe end shops until you're rather in a great city. Then clarify to the professional what your concerns are. on a similar time as help is considerable, at your age it additionally mandatory for the bra to respire and be versatile. in all risk a various fabric could help. If that doesn't artwork, save your allowance and purchase some diverse varieties and sizes until you come across what's gentle for you. you may desire to take your mom's concerns into attention. conceal those nipples, think of help, not cleavage. My daughter is definitely endowed. She shows utilising toddler powder or tub powder interior the factors the place you often sweat. She contains a small trip length powder along with her. If she feels sweaty, she in simple terms sprinkles on some powder interior the restroom. try it, it rather is a affordable fix, if it works for you. to no count if or not it rather well worth the conflict... you may desire to decide that your self. there's a asserting accessible," do not sweat the small stuff." on the different hand, from a mom's point of view, if the main rebellious act my daughter did became to argue approximately bra varieties, i could count variety myself a fortunate female. in keeping with risk your mom will comprehend that it fairly is not rather worth sweating the small stuff, like what form bra you're donning. If all else fails, remember you have basically approximately 5 years to place up with this. as quickly as you're 18 you could order from Victoria's secret or bypass bra much less in case you like.

How about a compromise I hit a DD when I was about the same age and me and my Mom had the same problem only she let my Grandma pick out my bras for me. The best bra that will make you both happy is called Curvation, K-mart, Wall-mart, and Meyer and Frank all carry them they even have ones with Lace and frill and the are guaranteed to not slip. Good Luck

Just show her you could be responsible enough wearing a regular bra. Try and get a sports bra and try it on in a fitting room to show your mom they are quality made and they are hideable. Maybe she could consider that. Dont worry about your friends, if they are really your friends theycwould help you not make fun of you. dont worry you'll be fine.

I'm so sorry dear. I would sit down with her and calmly explain how these bras are uncomfortable and make you sweat. Tell her where you'd rather go to get your bras. If she doesn't listen, tell her you will refuse to wear them. That you will go bra less. I think once you tell her that, she'll change her mind. =) Good luck dear!

oh my, those look like something my granny would have worn!! of course they provide support but you could find another kind that provides support, too. but, and you can ask any woman, most bras are hot and confining. i'm sure your ma has your best interests at heart. she doesn't want you to be sagging to your knees when you are 40.
