We tend to notice looks first; however, women seem to have insight that we don't. Every time I've been in a jam, and asked a female friend what to do, she's never steered me wrong. I think that insight, and emotional intelligence, is a big part of what makes women attractive. We need input, not a door mat. Am I wrong?

I think any guy who doesn't want a women with brains is retarded. Sure, she might be pretty, but you won't be able to have a conversation with her! It disgusts me when a guy just goes after a girl for her looks without even noticing her intelligence and personality.

Generally I cannot find anyone attractive until I have got to know them at least a little. I am very turned off by women who are idiots, that is to say those women who are very ignorant and have no desire to learn. I do not find the prospect of going out with a woman who is vastly intellectually superior to me appealing as then I will comparably be a fool. Ideally I like women who are quick witted and enjoy learming new things.

Wow a man who finally sees woman are more then looks and a good lay. hence the saying behind every good man is a good woman without our insight and know how men would be stuck in jams and never get out lol..

you got it man. But as you say, attraction starts at sight, so its hard to get to know her if she isn't good looking and its hard to keep knowing her if she isn't smart.
