Read it anyway! Satan does not want anyone reading the Bible; because he knows that it is the written truth. Satan will give you every excuse that he can come up with, to keep you from reading God's Word. But it is the only way that a Christian can grow. The Bible is food for our soul. And Satan wants every person to be as ignorant concerning the Word of God, as they can possibly be. For the Word of God is our sword which we use in our battles against Satan. This does not mean that you have to be fighting with the devil all the time; but that you have the power within you (which you have gained from reading God's Word) to overcome any attack that Satan may ever bring against you. Keep reading the Word of God, and never give up. If it seems that you do not have time, then make time. Let less important matters go. If you do not do so, then Satan will destroy you spiritually.

Listen, Satan doesn't want you to read it because he's worried you'll find it more interesting than his periodicle. The bible has funny stories but so does the Satanic bible. LIsten, tell Satan he has nothing to worry about. Listen to his feeling, understand his worries then make sweet sweet love with him. You'll find that once the both of you understand each other better your relationship will grow and prosper. Then tell him "let's never fight again". If you're lucky he'll let you burn for eternity.. but burn because he loves you... in an evil way.

Your values are messed up here. Satan doesn't want you to read the bible. Satan is a figment of your imagination. YOU don't want to read the bible but you think you should. To compensate for this confusion you've created an imaginary "Satan" who is telling you to do what you want to. It's called createimaginarypeoplewhotellyouwhattodo syndrome. Satan is right though, you shouldn't read the bible. Harry Potter is 50 times better...

Did you ever consider that Satan had a hand in writing the Bible. It's the most divisive book on the planet. The perfect lie to mankind.

The most common description of hell is that of fire.1 Here is a list of some of these descriptions:

fire and brimstone burning wind fiery oven
flames of fire judgment by fire unquenchable fire
furnace of fire eternal fire eternal punishment
fiery hell pits of darkness lake of fire

Since there could possibly be a lot of party people in hell, one might think that it will be one big party. However, the problem is that the likes of Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and other unsavory characters will be there also. In order to keep those people from tormenting their neighbors excessively, all the inhabitants will be restrained through punishment (with the amount increasing with the degree of restraint required). This list below tells of some of the things that the inhabitants of hell will be going through:

smoke of their torment2 no rest day and night2
weeping and gnashing of teeth3 tormented4
death5 their worm does not die6
destruction7

Why does there need to be a hell? This is a good question, since many would say that God could just destroy the evil people, rather than condemn them to a place of torment. The problem is that God made spiritual beings (humans and angels) as eternal creatures. In fact, the Bible says that God has put the knowledge of the eternal nature of our spirits within each of us:

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

I think that reading the bible will bring you closer to god, and you will also have a better relation ship with him, and remember that the devil will only Kill, steal, destroy. and decieve.

Depends on the "bible". There are so many out there now-a-days. If it the standard bible then you should read it anyways. What are you going to do? Stop because you thinksatan doesn't want you to?

Satan cannot make that decision for you. If you want to read your Bible, then read it. If you don't want to read it, then don't blame him.

You need help from a pastor who believes in the reality of satan and his controlling powers... If you are hearing voices... If youcannot do what you want to do... you are not in control. He is...He is a slave owner.... Jesus is not...He lets you make up your own mind... Jesus loves you Satan uses you.
Say this prayer and mean it: Satan, i renouce you and choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Jesus I receive you into my heart right now. Cover me with your blood. I want to be your child. Forgive me of all my sin. Holy Spirit, fill me now with your presence...
If you can't do it....by yourself... you need help from a pastor...ASAP

Of course he doesn't!! Rebuke him and then pray for God to give you a message when you begin your bible study. You're not alone. Many Christians get sidetracked when it's time to study the word.
