Yes it is just fine to taunt an atheist. I am one.. I try not to pick on the poor people who are being scamed out of their money and their lifes by believeing in a god. But if a believer gets in my face I do have the right to defend myself. Just like you do.
Do you really feel that giving your money to a church will get you into heaven? I think it will just make a man richer. I want to be that rich man and I think I can spend my money and make better use of it then someone in a church can.
I feel sorry for you and do hope you get out while you can and cut your loses.

i am 100% christian (my parents are ministers) but i think you should respect another person's religion even if you don't agree. if you taunt them, i you are not showing the comassion jesus taught us. he loved even the worst of people. i con't help but get annoyed by atheists but you should love them anyway. jesus doesn't hate anyone... he weeps for atheists, but he does not resent them.
