Check with Expedia, Orbitz or travelocity. I know that expedia at one time gave a "multiple destination" option that let you pick flights hours or days apart to more than one place at a time.

Yes you could. However, there are some things to consider. Depending on what kind of ticket you bought, you may not be able to exchange the unused portion of the ticket you have now towards a new flight. Even if you can, you probably will have to pay a fee plus whatever difference there is between the old flight and the new flight. Last minute flights can also be very expensive, if you get a seat at all. If you're planning to book a new ticket on a busy route, you may not be able to get a ticket right away. You may be waitlisted. Also, if you're not going to use part of your ticket, you should notify the airlines and family/friends. If there is some sort of accident or for some reason the plane was delayed, etc. and people thought you were on that flight, it could cause confusion. Also fon't forget about potential confusion with the luggage.
In short, you could book a new flight but I wouldn't recommend it. If you must change your flight, you should do it as soon as possible.

Not unless you make that type of reservation thru the airlines (or travel agent) and the flight allows for it. Otherwise, if you don't, then they won't let you continue on the original connecting flight.
Some people were booking a flight from point A to C and getting off at point B because it was cheaper. Its considered illegal but it is hard for them to catch you on it unless you were to do it on a regular basis.
You can get off at the connection and not continue on and then book a flight someplace else. That is ok, but usually, a flight like that will cost more. It all depends on where you are going and what airlines you are flying on.

Talk to your travel agent. Its a multi-city booking. Not possible on a regular ticket because the flight and seats are scheduled on the ticket itself.
