I went to the store to buy whole milk (The first time in 20 years or so). Why do they homogenize milk? What's wrong with the cream going to the top? Why do they have all the low fat, no fat milk? That must taste like $hit. God must be pissed.

I've been drinking 2 and 1% milks since I was a little kid. That's what I'm accustomed to. I'm used to my milk being homogonized, too, so I guess I'd be upset if they changed that, as well (lol). They sell cream now, ya know?

Homogenization is the least of your worries. Milk is packed with antibiotics and hormones, and tends to be unsanitary despite pasteurization because the milk is pooled so you only need 1 sick cow to contaminate a huge batch of milk. Then of course its full of blood cells, red and white, and almost always has bovine disease microorganisms.

You really sure you want to drink that

to keep it presentable....would you want to get milk and the water base is on the bottom while the fat milk cream is on top. plus, the different grades are for peoples different tastes and health needs.

so people would buy it plus it is healthier if they treat it and so we have a variety of different types of milk to chose from. everyone likes choices.
