It's happened to me before from a friend in college for two years, who never owned up about it until I told him I was going to the cops, whoever the person was. Then it stopped.
Way to feel good about my life. Thoughts?

Just curious.....Umm, why are most of you siding with these people?
You're going to tell me you wouldn't be upset or embarrassed? This was in college and I was 23 at the time......
That's pathetic and inexcusable.

If it was a random, harmless prank call, I wouldn't worry about it. If someone was purposely trying to make your life uncomfortable, I wouldn't take it as an insult, I would take it as an invasion of my privacy.

Geez dude, lighten up. Someone is trying to have a little fun and doesn't understand how you'd respond. A lot of the time it becomes something you both laugh over later. Geez, we used to do it as kids and just loved the responses.. hell we did it once and the guy knew the crank.. so he stopped us, asked us to grab a piece of paper then spouted off about 15 better pranks.. it was hilarious and really cool...
above all else, stop turning inward and thinking the world is out after you. If you keep your life light you'll find it's fun.. if you freak out and threaten to call the cops and get paranoid, people will stop hanging out with you and avoid you..
listen to me if you want.. but seriously lighten up....

They got what they wanted.....they upset you. That's why they stopped...they won. Have a sense of humor and let little things like that go. Unless they are calling you 20 times a day, it can't be that hard to ignore.

A prank phone call would have to be pretty darn bad before I'd consider it an insult never mind reporting it.

I agree, get a sense of humor. Nobody likes to hang around with a boring person.

Your question isn't very clear. However, from what I'm able to guess....you need to let this go with a grain of salt and a wee bit of humor. Laugh it off and move on.

if it was once in that whole two year period, get a sense of humor or get used to having no friends.
