What do her eyes do when she passes you? Does she look you up and down? Hold your eye contact? What kind of smile is it? Does it look uncomfortable? Or does she look at you like you just lit up the room? Does she continue to stare at you, or smile and almost immediately turn her attention somewhere else? It sounds silly, but if you really think about it, you really can tell, but the clues are very very subtle. Someone who's just being polite with give a forced, tight smile that looks similar to your school pictures--they never come out right and you end up sitting there going, "just take the damn picture already". You know what I mean? If she's not giving you this kind of a smile, I say you're in the green. Which I think you are, especially if she's slowing down.
