since Satan is the "Father Of All Lies," he has a ton of great tricks, but Yes I do believe that one of his greatest tricks is convincing the world that he doesn't exist.

Bibically, I believe that Satan's greatest trick is taking the truth and making them appear to be lies, then taking lies and making them to appear as truth.

Don't be fooled Satan does come as an angel of light

I personally think the greatest trick Satan pulled was appearing as Jesus to Paul on the road to Damascus. What better way to fool the masses? Paul and Constantine did more to distort God's original message through Jesus than anyone else in history, and I believe Satan was behind it all.

Do you thing the greatest trick that God pulls is to have a book written declaring his love and mercy and just throw in there randomly that you are going to burn in HELL forever.
I hope to meet you on the Other Side so I can happily see the smile on your face, the Love in your heart and the peace of God within you.
That will sure beat any earthly "I told you so!"

I would totally agree. It is a most effective way to gear people away from the truth, just make em' believe that God or satan doesnt even exsist. satan works on the mind, the mind is your battlefeild, if he can confuse you, he's got you. that is why we need to stand firm, and have a relationship with God. Not religion, relationship. I wonder if those people that do not believe in God, if they've ever just tried to know Him.

People are ignorant about what is going on in this world because they do not take any responsibility for their choices in life and the actions that cause their life and all around them to happen. Satan has no power to make anyone choose to do evil or unloving actions. Every person has the power to live their life with each choice made out of love rather than out of fear.

That is a very good and thoughful question, but I truly believe that his greatest "trick" or to say it better "deception" would be to make most people believe that they are on their way to heaven when if fact they are not.

Matthew 7:21-23 not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Luke 13:5, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

1 John 2:4, "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

Again, if you have truly been adopted into God's family and the Holy Spirit is living inside of you, there should be some evidence of that in your life. It is not just a matter of meaningless words. My friend, think about those words, "I never knew you: Depart from me."

"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries" (Hebrews 10:26-27).

Hmmm... I don't believe that Satan exists. And I think the counter-argument is "Satan's greatest trick is making you think he doesn't exist." Nah... I think this is just an argument made by fundamentalist Christians to try and make me believe that my own rational thought didn't make me come to this conclusion but instead that Satan made me come to this conclusion.

Yes, I have no doubt about it. Often he allows us periods of peace so that we can think that we are in control and that war is a thing of the past.
