No are not wrong to change your mind. something has to be created before it can evolve. such as idea or a baby. just think of al the things in your life that are basicaly the same but also changed in some way.

Friend if you believe evolution, you can't believe creation. You can't believe Adam and Eve, nor the fall of man, nor the plan of redemption which is in Christ Jesus.
Brother evolution just didn't take place, where are all the half monkeys half humans today? they don't exist. And all fossils of the supposed missing link (all like 5 of them) have been disproven.
I leave you with 2 final thoughts. Why do large tree's (many upside down) cross many fossil layers of rock (which are supposed to be millions and millions of years apart) ??
And why isn't there such thing as an organism with 2 cells? or 3? or even 5 ??? Other then single celled organisms, the smallest organisms are 6 to 20 cells large, and these are parasites.

Why would you mix truth with the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on man? To say that certain monkeys can now perform certain tasks does not mean they are "evolving". The smartest monkey cannot even come close to the most foolish of humans. Can any monkey speak? Can they make decisions not based on instinct, survival or rewards? Can they design and build? I am saddened that you spent so much time in Scripture and still haven't grasped the basic truths. If this is some sort of new theory, it will crash and burn, just like the evolution hypothesis has.

This is the part many people don't understand. They CAN coexist. Any educated person who would believe in a literal 7-day creation is either stupid or insane. I'm sorry but that's the way it is. You have educated yourself and now are smart enough to mix the two. The garden is a myth, pure and simple. It could symbolize something far greater. There is insurmountable evidence for evolution and it is better to die enlightened than to die ignorant.

You can read the bible for years and not know that you can trust it as God's word. What you need is to become born again through faith in Jesus Christ. The things of God are spiritually discerned. When you are born again the spirit of God indwells you. You will then see the truth of what He has said...and the falsehood of any "man's reasoning" about evolution, or whatever, that attempts to dispel what God has said.
I pray in Jesus' name that the Lord put your feet, mind and heart on a right path.

You can't control your beliefs. If that is what you believe so be it. If you are a solid creationist then you have surely seen that MICRO-evolution does exist.
If you really believe that macro-evolution is real, then at least give credit to God for it.
God didn't give us all the answers and we have to try our best to figure out for ourselves. Many evolutionists are atheists that need evolution to explain away God. As long as you keep him in the picture I'm sure He'll be cool with it.

Some guy whose name I forget, wrote a book in which he reconciles his scientific background with his Christian beliefs. He has no problem believing in the Big Bang Theory and believing the story of Creation (Genesis 1:1). You have to make peace in your heart with it yourself. Understand that a lot of our belief in God is indeed based on faith, and faith remaining in the foreground, whatever shifts and flux occur in the background is somewhat insignificant in the bigger picture. Sounds to me like your heart is in the right place, and maybe you're looking a little bit too hard. Be at peace. Have faith. Pray for enlightenment if it means that much to you. This is probably the worst place to ask. But God be with you on your endeavor.

its never to late to question your beliefs. as against the grain as it may be considered, i believe myself to be a free thinker. my ability to change my perspective on life means i have reached a higher level of education on a subject matter, and come up with a different understanding of it. this applies to religion in the same way. even if you were taught either only creation, or only evolution, your ability to formulate an opinion and change your perspective about religion means you are open minded, and have the ability to listen to others. remember nothing in life is ever cut and dry, theres always two sides to every story!

You don't need anyone's permission or advice to make choices in life. Do what you feel is right for you. Then you know you made the right choice. Follow your own heart and thoughts. That's why we have such a problem with "Organized Religion". Do whatever makes you feel happy with your life. There is no wrong choice for you.

What does being 66 have to do with anything? A healthy human evolves and changes until the day they die. And then what?
