10 days before my now ex-bf jake broke up with me, he said i didnt want to do anything with him, for example, he would ask me to race him in the pool and i would say no, only because i dont swim well. tehn he would ask a buch of other things to do in the pool, and i would say no, because of the same reason, and i didnt want my bathing suit to fall off in front of him since it was too big. but also he was 13 and i was 12, and i heard boys picking on him because i was a year younger. his friend cody would always give him a hard time. before we went out, he said he wanted to wait till high school. he might have broken up with me because he had only asked me out because my friend kacey made him. me might have just wanted to have a fresh start and begin again, starting off being friends, then slowly getting a little more serious. i dont know which one would be more likely. it might have been everything. i want to find out so i know what not to do next time.

honey i really would not worry about it. your 12 right? relationships at this point in your life are going to be screwed up. dont worry. when you get older your relationships will get deeper and stupid stuff like that wont happen. it probably wasnt your fault any ways! boys at this age are very immature. just wait untill highschool when your relationships can be more serious. untill then just have fun being a kid. dont worry about those stupid boys!! hope you get every thing figuredd out ;)

he broke up with you cuz he's 13! you are pretty young and truth is, even at 12 it hurts! one thing to remember about him and probably most of the guys you date from now til about college age....they're immature. they're as confused about who they want to be as everybody else is at that age. i would say just don't take it so seriously. at that age, 'i love you' should be a good sign to back off a little. not many 13 yr old guys are gonna mean it when they say it. guard your heart a little bit for now and dont fall in love too quick.
i think the best thing you can do is work hard in school and have lots of good guy friends, just friends! good guy friends will watch out for the jerks for you.

If you really do like him... just be friends and slowly work it out. Cause if he is right that he asked you out cause of his friend, then maybe he really does care and dont want to hurt you in the long run.
So he resets and now look to see if he really likes you more than just a friend. Just take it easy, you are young and will get over it.

guys are jerks. It is very rare to find a good guy. He must have been imature, especially if he wanted to race u around the pool. Dont worry there will be other guys

If you don't want to do some thing with him like swim or whatever else tell why you don't want to do it and ask if he wants to do something else. I am not sure if he really knows why he broke up with you.

jus be more honest and open next time, if you dont swim well tell him that so that he doesnt think that you jus dont want to do it, same thing with the bathing suit top
