To explore and be like a wild animal. One of my cats spends most of her time outside. The other one goes out and comes back in and NEVER goes out in the winter. Individual personalities.

If you've adopted a stray or rehabilitated feral cat (ie: most cats found in shelters), the cat may have a distinct sense-memory of freedom of movement outside. That, and because they can see the action (bugs, birds, squirrels) through windows, they understand basically that the fun is elsewhere.

Cats who were bornin the wild wil always have there instinks and when they are older will want to b outside. Its ok to let ur cat out ov the house if it was a wild cat at birth, they no who their owner is and where there home is and always come back when there hungry.

It's pretty normal for a cat. They love the outdoors, because they love to prowl and hunt and feel like king of the jungle. It's safer to keep them indoors, though. I compromise with my cats and let them go out on the screened-in porch :)

That is where the best hunting is at! And cats are hunters by nature.
