since i am working so can not take off for too long. need to sit in fron of the computer 10 hours a day!!!!

It cost me a total of 1400. Take a Friday afternoon and a weekend you will be mostly ok. Followup exams are needed for a few hours at a time.

just had lasik this spring. absolutely loved it! cost me $2500 for both eyes but i went with the "custom wave-front, blah, blah, blah" with what amounts to an "extended warrantee" on it (free addt'l surgery for a year if necessary). it's been 8 months and the eyes are great. very sore for about 5-6 hours afterwards, after that they felt very dry (like i'd been awake all night) but by the next day they were still tender to any pressure (which is to be avoided) but didn't hurt at all. like the other respondant said, schedule it for a thursday or friday and you'll be good to go back to work on monday.

lasik is amazing. It took my husband 24 hours of recovery and that was it. The eyes are the quickest healing organ in the body.

price has gone down to 300 per eye. You can't drive home but can go to work next day
