Do you think those sites are safe? OR are there criminals that try to date people that post their pictures there...? Should I tell her to stop?

I wouldn't advise you to tell her to stop, she might find the right person for her, but definitely tell her to be careful. There are many sites that offer tips and advices for safe online dating and may be it is a good idea to read a couple just to keep out of bad experience.

It is OK as long as she's safe. She meets people in public places and doesn't go anywhere with them until she knows them really well.
It is the same as meeting someone at a party, you don't really know them do you.
I use to use those dating sites and was very careful about who I went out with. Those who wanted to meet me after one message were ignored after that.

I met my current boyfriend from a dating site. He is prefectly safe. He's never been in trouble with the law for anything, doesn't do drugs. He has a job and an EMT Basic license and is fixing to further his EMT education. I wouldn't tell her to stop but do ask her to be careful, as not everyone online is honest, let her know you are worried about her.

These sites are not safe!! Tell her to stop doing this. I have a friend that did this also. One of the guys she met showed up at her house with a gun. Thank God someone was there with her that night. He could have killed her.

well according to TV ads n whatnot, their safe. But i am not a fan of dating sites etc etc. & meeting people over in internet. You never know who your going to run into. You cant trust the worrld.. Try to warn her..

they are definitely not safe!...i have a friend like that and i try to tell her to stop but she disagrees with me... i think that you should try to explain some of the crap that can happen to her if she dates people on the Internet.

some of them are but u know meeting people other ways can be dangerous too like say u meet someone in a club or a bar or something they seem nice but once things start getting serious they turn our to be crazy...look at j lo in enough

if she meets the guy in public and lets people know where she is going and also let her friends/family know what the guy looks like and what site she met him on.

i have met some normal and not so normal people..just make sure she has talked on the phone to them many times,,get license plate numbers..phone numbers,addy,then meet in a public place...maybe suggest double dates at first...ask about their schools and jobs,,do detective work...i know they can lie but still ask questions

Dating can be scary no matter what... There are weird people everywhere and you can't live your life worring about "What if's".
