Nothing works like good-old prune juice. You can try all of the over-the-counter laxatives, fiber drinks, tablets and stool softeners that you want, but they have a tendency to strip your colon and leave you feeling tired and worn. Prune juice is full of the same type of fruit fiber (plus vitamins), is easier on your tender tissues and can be injested on a regular basis. One word of caution - stay home the first few times that you drink it...when it's time to go, you 'gotta go, gotta go, gotta go RIGHT NOW!'

Phyllism (sp)? powder or those fiber pills
another great think in the drug store is called 'stool softener' it works great and it's not a laxative. Stay away from laxatives.

"Beneficial" I think that's what it's called (or is that a dog food?). It's tasteless and you can add it to any thing. Jello, pudding, cereral, water, soda, etc. And of course, you can go with your basic "Fleet"

Correctol. Or, if you'd rather go the natural route, aloe vera juice.
