I don't get it, well i know God is very spiritual, and an influence to many millions or billions of people over the years, but how can Kenyans go to heaven or hell if they never had a chance to read the bible and just starve to death?

btw i am not blaming God

i just want an opinion on a truth(starving Africans) and faith (God) and how the two are connected or the ramifications that come with it.

Well, it's said that MAN DOES NOT LIVE IN BREAD ALONE. If somebody dies without knowing Christ, then he has an excuse for not believeing in HIM because he didn't get to know Christ. That's why we send missionaries to poor counties to tell them about the goodness of Christ.

There is pain and suffering in the world because of the works of men not of God. We are here to learn lessons and to take care of the things we have done wrong. But we can't solve these things without asking for God's guidance.

When someone says, "If there is a god, why is there so much eveil in the world?" I'm reminded of the words of the early church father, Augustine, who said, "If there is no god, why is there so much good in the world?" Yes, we acknowledge that it is an evil for people to starve to death, but how did you know that it was evil unless you had something good to compare it to? In other words, someone greater than ourselves has placed conscience within us. Wouldn't you say that only God is powerful enough to do this? Finally, just because God hasn't eliminated the evil in the world, doesn't mean He can't, or isn't going to in the future. All of these attrocities are a result of the fall of mankind according to Genesis chapter 3. God Bless you.

Everyone had a chance. You may not have been there when they were given a chance. If no one gave them a chance and you know this...why don't you go over there and tell them so they have a chance..Then you will also get it. You say you know that God is spiritual so that means you know God to an extent. Go do something about it or help in some way.

People starve everywhere, probably within 20 miles of you. What makes the people of Africa more important that those around you!

What are you doing to end poverty and hunger in the world!

Jesus said there would always be poor, look at what YOU have!

God said man is made to suffer, to toil from sun up to sun down and have pain in childbirth.

It's called human life.

In order to end it all, we'd all have to take many steps backwards, give up our cars, homes, limit our personal items to a select few, live on FAR less food and have FAR less choices, be availble to re-locate to where we are required to do the most good.

That concept, a very unrealistic one in which you'd have about a $8,000 a year life style, is called World Communism.

Why stop there? How about a baby who dies in childbirth? How about one that is brain damaged and cannot undertsand the bible? What about those people who lived BC? Or those who died after him but before the bible was written later? Or the American Indians who had to wait a whole long time and died before missionaries came there way?
Those who believe will ALWAYS come up with some kinda rationale.

God allows man to act as their own agents. Look to the governments that are not feeding their own people and stop blaming God for the failings of mankind.

It's mankind's fault not God's fault. God gave us free will so we can choose to follow Him or not. They don't seem to have a choice because someone else runs their way of life.
