Yes, I ignore it. I always wonder how people can be so inconsiderate or self important, but I ignore it. If I have a lot of stuff in my cart and someone comes up behind me with just a few things in their hands I tell them to go ahead of me. When they just walk up and break line then they just lost the opportunity to have someone be nice to them. They just come off as pushy and rude.

No, I simply state that I had been waiting and they can wait their turn also. If they make a big deal of it, I have once put down what I was going to purchase and stood outside the door to verbally harangue them until they get to their car. Over the top and worse than being cut? Maybe. What makes them so important all of a sudden?

Yes but I usually make a face or go "tsk". I have the most incredibly hard time behaving myself when I get in lines, I become impatient. I act like a crabby old lady and I annoy myself!

No, I don't ignore it. Sometimes, if someone has only one or two items and I have a buggy full, I will invite them to go ahead of me, but if they barge in, I invite them to go to the back of the line.

no i do not ignore it. i tell them to get to the end of the line...and if they do not i just run my cart right up on their heels and give them no room to stand at all.
they will usually move...however this has only hapened to me 2 or 3 times, usually just my appearence is enough to make people stay away.

I'm never in such a hurry that this bothers me. So, yes, I ignore them and just amuse myself by watching other people, behaving badly. It's really the best entertainment around!!

it actually happened to me 1 time. it was the MOST annoying thing I have ever ecperienced. it was something that happened so quickly and I was caught off guard by it that I just stood there dumbfounded. (it was a Mexican National doing some shopping here (the U.S.), and her family was in front of me. it was stupid, and I SOOO wanted to tell her off, but like I said: I was more shocked than anything else by her rudeness. I CAN'T stand those people!!!

always ignore it ...not worth the risk of possible physical harm to confront an aggressive, violent person...don't want to embarrass my friends at the store...I have plenty of time to ignore someone who is eat up with self importance or maybe it is one of the older members of the community who no longer remembers how to take turns in line.

No, you do not ignore it. You say " Excuse me, but I have been waiting in line and you need to get in line behind me. I am sorry if you did not see my in line".

It depends if it was done intentionally and in a rude manner or not. Sometimes a person simply doesn't notice that they cut you off.
Rude behavior should never be "overlooked".
