I too have Celiacs. You can buy lots of food items at most any grocery store that are gluten free. If your store does not have any then check with local heralth food stores.
The beauty aides you listed have no gluten. I use them all and have had no problems. There are several good sites t first it is a challenge, but you learn to adapt. Hope all goes well.

Anything made with wheat or wheat flour is off limits. I don't think that it matters what external (outside the body) products you use, just what goes through the digestive system.

For example, peanut butter is fine, but pasta may not be if it is made with wheat flour. Celiac disease is simply an intolerance to gluton which is found in all wheat products and many processed foods. If you stick with fresh fruits and veggies, meats and rice and potatoes for carbs, you should be OK. Ask your friend's doctor to refer you to a dietitian who can help you set up a safe and healthy eating plan.

the above items are gluten free. try baking bread with spelt flour, sourgum flour, or oat bran. stay away from any wheat products and by products.
