ok this guy at work has asked me out twice. the first time he wanted to go dancing, i had a birhtday party that day so i posponed it for another day. he asked me out this weekend to the movies, but i dont really want to go. im afraid that if i go out on a date with him hell want to take things further and i dont see him as more than a friend. how do i tell him that i dont want to go out with him ever. without hurting his felling and staying friends?

No way to tell him without hurting him. Just come out and say that friends is it but you don't want this to come between you. He may or may not be able to deal with it. It may take time, if so just be there when he comes back. I know because it happened to me. Just tell him and don't play with his emotions or it will cause more trouble than you two are ready to handle.

ask him if you can bring a date to the outing
then he will know that you don't see him as "hot"
you just wanna be friends
then he would have to get a date
and you never know
you and he might just make googly eyes at each other the whole night
and make an excuse to get away from your dates. and make out in the boys bathroom

that is awesome
go for it

Just tell him that you have a policy not to date within the workplace. Tell him that you just want to be friends.

Just tell him to meet you at the movies, then don't show up. He will get the picture.

Be honest, tell him that you're sorry, but that you only want to be friends.

how would you want to be told? put yourself in his place you like someone and they THINK you want to take things further so they avoid you, duck and dodge you. What do you want them to say to you? try that........
