NO, it is just a porn fantasy.
It started when the man had to "prove" that he had an erection and orgasm. As if you can't do that with a porn star. The man would withdrawal early and shower the woman with his ejaculate so he didn't risk making her pregnant, and to show that he really had an orgasm.
It is also a domination thing, where the woman has to submit to being ejaculated on.
Women don't like to have ejaculate on their faces, it's messy and has to be cleaned off. That gets in the way of HER orgasm, and can spoil sex for her. A woman might submit to it, to make your fantasy, but do you really think that anyone wants a face full of spouge? Remember you pee with that thing too. Would you want her to spouge all over your face?

Well, seeing as I have had partners who like it, I guess it is NOT just a porn fantasy. So long as the guy does not do anything to be degrading, it should be fine. It is not a lot to ask in return for doing basically ANYTHING a partner desires.....

This practice is kinda yucky..
They directors make the men spO**f on the girls faces to suggest that they are really enjoying it. Plus
Not many porn stars want to swallow waves of c*m.
So the face is the next best thing.
It doesn't turn me on though....Kinda messy...
