“‘And I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days dressed in sackcloth.’ These are symbolized by the two olive trees and the two lampstands and are standing before the Lord of the earth.”—Revelation 11:3, 4. These faithful anointed Christians needed the quality of endurance, for they had to prophesy “in sackcloth.” What did this mean? In Bible times sackcloth often symbolized mourning. Wearing it was a sign that the person had been brought low in sorrow or distress. (Genesis 37:34; Job 16:15, 16; Ezekiel 27:31) Sackcloth was associated with the mournful messages of doom or grief that God’s prophets had to proclaim. (Isaiah 3:8, 24-26; Jeremiah 48:37; 49:3) The wearing of sackcloth could indicate humility or repentance in view of divine warning. (Jonah 3:5) The sackcloth worn by the two witnesses appears to indicate their humble endurance in announcing God's judgments. They were witnesses proclaiming his day of vengeance that would bring mourning also to the nations.—Deuteronomy 32:41-43.
The fact that they were symbolized by two witnesses confirms to us that their message was accurate and well founded.
John calls them “the two olive trees and the two lampstands,” saying that they “are standing before the Lord of the earth.” This is an evident reference to the prophecy of Zechariah, who saw a seven-branched lampstand and two olive trees. The olive trees were said to picture “the two anointed ones,” that is, Governor Zerubbabel and High Priest Joshua, “standing alongside the Lord of the whole earth.”—Zechariah 4:1-3, 14.

The two witnesses are believed to be Enoch and Elijah, NOT MOSES, Moses saw death. Enoch and Elijah are the only two in the Bible to have never seen death. Enoch is in the beginning of Genesis and all it says is that Enoch lived for 365 years, names his son, that Enoch walked with God, and one day God took him. Basically he just vanished out of thin air. But if you read the book of Enoch(which is supposed to be written by himself), he talks about seeing two huge giant angels taking him up to Heaven, which he is still in his physcial body! But thats another story. Elijah was taken up in a Chariot of Fire and his successor, Elisah was walking with him when this happened, which Elisah saw him go up in a whirlwind. Since mankind is condemned to death, or that every living creature will see death, Enoch and Elijah MUST SEE DEATH, this is where the two witnesses come into play.

God has everything planned out; from the beginning to the end, he had everything already mapped out in Genesis when he took Enoch!!!! That was thousands of years ago!!!!

This may having nothing to do with the question, but the reason why no one ever found Moses' body is because Moses was so close to God, people looked at Moses instead of God. Satan wanted to take Moses' body and make a temple for him, which Satna wanted people would go there to worship Moses instead of God. That was Satan's whole plan, but God knew it and he sent Michael to deal with Satan. The Bible does mention that he was buried in the valley of Moab, but does not give an exact location in the valley.

I think you may be thinking of the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation? Mentioned first in Rev. 11:3-4. They may be Elijah and Moses, come back to, for the last time, call the world to obedience to Christ. Naturally, they will be killed. The world will see their bodies for three 1/2 days, and then God will raise them in full view of everyone. You can read on in Rev. 11 about them.

Some people think it will be Moses and Elijah, others think Enoch and Elijah. No one will know until the mid-point of the tribulation.
