sweetheart88,we can function without present religions, but not without GOD,and not without Knowing how to attain union with Him. I believe religions as we know them have served Gods purpose and he is now in the process of letting them pass away,he is replacing them with Spirituality,Metaphysics.

Until science unlocks the mysteries of the mind, it will never be able to "prove" Godness...science has a hard time with formlessness. However, there are classes in the metaphysical & spirituality, but you're best "teacher" is right inside you...those wonderful soul sounds.

In answer to the ?, though...if we stay in the mass consciousness that we are in now, our Earth will again do Her thing & remove the irritating parasites that get under her skin...so. yes, religions will disappear, because so will we all.

Unfortunately, only those that God reveals this truth to can know. Have you ever wondered why on earth such bizzare beliefs exist?
We will always have heretics of every sort untill Christ returns.
And evolution has already been proven wrong in many ways, and some of those ways cannot be changed. They will not believe in a God, so even though some know evolution is wrong, they will just say, it is the best that we have.

I don't know. Religion has been around for thousands of years. There were always doubters in every faith. There is an ancient Greek play called The Clouds (can't remember who wrote it) that has a philosopher denying Zeus's existence saying it's only clouds in the sky, no gods.

Definitely, not! Since time immemorial human beings have been in search of their identity,of their existence, and ultimate meaning of life. The SUMMUM BONUM, the greatest good, can be found only in God, and in God alone. In Moral Philosophy, man has a duty towards God...the duties of worship and the duties of religion.,it is,therefore, fitting and proper to render God these duties bec. God exist. yes as all races and cultures mix and people get more intelligent religion will die.

It's already dying in America, look up demographics on a search engine. The future's going to be exciting with them gone!

I disagree, religion is not there to rival science or physics. Religion's original intention was to give hope and help people handle uncertainty. Especially in the ancient days where there was lots of suffering and lots of poverty, religion was there to give people a purpose of life and accept the suffering that occurred. As long as there is suffering and uncertainty in this world, there will always be religion........

Yes it will, because religion will not be a big issue. Everyone will be alike. People nowadays, dont believe in religion, they want to live there own life in their own ways. Once upon a time color was not a big issue, and today nobody cares about it. So things will change with time, we just have wait and see.......

I believe that science will prove most things in the bible true and other religious texts. I believe that science will prove that there are divine beings. I don't care if most scientists think I'm crazy. One hundred years ago I could have quoted the best scientists and they would have said that dinosaurs were slow moving, cold blooded reptiles. Two hundred years ago I could have quoted lord kelvin of the national museum of science, "heavier than air flying machines are impossible." That is quite obviously wrong, we have air planes and helicopters.
