I have warm squash yellow and pumpkin orange in my house that feel cozy and warm and cheerful. I guess they remind me of good times and family. Like "comfort colors". Warm reds are the same. Like being inside a warm, cozy room filled with family and friends on a cold, snowy day.
Most pale blues and greens are soothing, but feel "cool" to me. Medium and dark blues and greens feel cold to me, and I feel uncomfortable, almost sad, when I am in rooms these colors.
Colors can have so many different shades and hues and evoke different feelings.
For instance, I love the warm yellow I mentioned above that is in my house, but I hate lemon yellow and "sunny" yellow. They feel cold and harsh to me.

orange is supposed to make you hungry...pepto bismol pink is soothing.
I personally haven't experienced these emotions from these colors. I think that a pale blue and pale-ish green lit naturally by sunlight are soothing.

did u know during the feminist movement men were told to paint their kitchens "apple green", it is suppose to be the most soothing/calming color and was used to keep women in the kitchen.
red is suppose to make you hungry, most fast-food/food chains have it on their buildings.
