I'd like a high quality wedding ring patterened quilt, preferably embroidered with the names and wedding date.

Buy a gift certificate toward getting a video photo montage made. Family loves this stuff... they can take their photos and old home movies, and have a professional editor create a video slideshow set to music. Great anniversary gift!

How about a gift certificate for a nearby Bed and Breakfast? My husband and I make sure to go to at least one B&B a year and we love them...you can check out specific rooms online and they usually serve gourmet breakfasts. Nearby towns feature shopping, kayaking, and just a wonderful weekend. Always a great gift and perfect for the couple who needs a getaway!!

What about surprising your relative with a self-made "Balloon in a Box"? You could for example choose the balloon motive according to the anniversary or simply use a heart or a "smilie"!
The mentioned web-site shows step-by-step how to make a "Balloon in a Box".

A restaurant coupon dinner for two
or brunch for two or breakfast for two...whatever you can afford.
If you can't afford this, volunteer to babysit for them if they have children.
Bake a coffee cake or rolls for the morning of their anniversary to share together at breakfast.
I wish I knew more details, because I think I could give you more answers then.

some would refer you to the archaic conventions of silver, paper, etc. ::yawn::
you know what your hubby likes, find out!
Then get a personal gift.. that'll go straight to his heart.
My hubby is into bikes.. so i bought him a Harley Davidson stock certificate in a metal frame.. and had one of his biker buddies weld the frame onto an old chevy piston as a stand..
He Loved it!
G'luck girl and happy anniversary.

depends on who the people are. for example im attending my aunts 50th and they're 70+ so money is the best gift ,etc..use your best judgement..gift certificates are very sociablly acceptable.

if you are artsy, try making a small scrapbook of their pics together. If you aren't, you can buy one already made from ebay and add their pictures. They will love it!
