I can't speak for everyone but, My opinion is. We are simply asking for an orderly way to do this. As it stands now we cannot determine who's crossing our borders be it a Drug Smuggler, Rapist or a Hard working person simply seeking work. We cannot have thousands cross our border daily Unchecked. Not only is it asking for trouble it's allready causing it. If we need quest workers Fine lets do it so we can monitor whos coming in and what there coming in for. Enough of the Free for all we currently have.

It is the orderly - and necessary - way to do things. If we continue to just allow anyone to come into the country without going through the proper channels, then we are going to bankrupt our entire system. And that will hurt all in the end - including the citizens of this country. Is that the desired outcome? One must consider that resources and jobs are not an endless supply. If they were, then this would be a perfect world.

Well i think all we need to do, well to start with if we ALL would help to make these undocumented (which is the correct term, not illegal) immigrants have documents to become legal then all of the undocumented immigrants will finally live in the U.S.A legaly and there wouldnt be no more arguing, fighting, or stuff like that about the undocumented immigrants. So in other words if we all joined together then maybe all these undocumented immigrants will finally be livin here legally. But yet, there are people who will diasgree with me but this is just my opinion. Im Mexican-American i was born in America but my parents are from Mexico they came here with UNDOCUMENTED papers but thankfully non they are DOCUMENTED or "legal" as some people would say. Im just 13 years old but i still have a strong opinion on people who are against UNDOCUMENTED immigrants. And remember not ALL undocumented immigrants are "criminals" they come here undocumneted because you people dont want to help them make them legal , if you people (Anti-Immigrants) would join/help us make them legal then maybe they wouldnt be criminals as you say. I firmly think that we should ALL be out there catching those rapist, drug dealers, robbers, etc. not some undocumented immigrant who came to the U.S.A. lookin for a job and for a better life.

We are asking for an orderly legal way.
There is nothing wrong with a temporary close sign neither.

No. I do not like illegals at all. Legals are fine, they are obviously making a conscious effort to fit in here- learning English etc. Its those darn illegals. I live in America where I want to speak English, and not be afraid to be outside by myself!!! But anyone who is willing to go through the proper processes.. WELCOME!

Illegal aliens could care less if we have a welcome sign or not. They ignore our laws.

I am all for legal immigration and immigrants.

No amnesty for illegal aliens!

I think that there are many people in this nation that are reacting out their biases against immigrants. There are few places where immigrants are made to feel welcome. . .The only welcoming places that I can think of are New York, San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Chicago & Minneapolis.

The illegals ignore our laws in their rush to come here and suck up welfare etc. The only thing they contribute to is our tax burdens. They bring their perverts and child molesters, their gangs and criminals.

Deport the illegals first and then we'll figure out the rest of it. Secure our borders.

That is all we are asking is that they come legally, so we no who is here we don't want their criminals to, no one has ever said legal immigrants were not welcome.
