It is natural to get want to get right back into it. I have been on 4 mission trips (1 to Haiti, 3 to Mexico). There are probably a lot of mission opportunities in your area also. You can do them while you are waiting to go back. A few things to check in to Food Shelters, Homeless Shelters, Red Cross, Church, etc. Good luck. Be weary of those who just point out your 'faults', they live in glass houses but still cast stones.

No, its not okay. Instead of being anxious for how much good you can do at the missionary, at the very least try to think how you can make your life better. At the most, think how you can accomplish something that will further the work of God. It's okay to be anxious, but it shouldn't stop you from doing anything.

In time, my child.
Effort is an accomplishment, all words penetrate the mind of others.

In 7 years those you have preached to may have thought back on your words and come to the truth.

Everyone feels anxious at first, but in time the seeds planted will grow into fruit-bearing trees.

Yes, it is alright to feel anxious. We have young people in our church that just went on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic. They can't wait to go back next year. But God wants us to grow in the Lord, so that we can be more effective for Him. Good luck in all that you do, and wait upon the Lord. Be obedient to Him, and He will direct thy paths. Don't loose sight of what God has called you to do. May God bless you always.
