Pati: I had no intention of making fun of either language. On point of actual fact I think they're about the two most beautiful languages I know. I think you missed the point of my joke (which admittedly may have been a lame one).

Nice try, but us Welsh have 7 vowels:

A E I O U Y W

full alphabet

A, B, C, CH, D, DD, E, F, FF, G, NG, H, I, L, LL, M, N, O, P, PH, R, RH, S, T, TH, U, W, Y

the letters J, K, Q, V, X, Z are used, but only in Anglicised words, names, and nouns for objects that are 'modern'

It's quite funny - no need to apologise for what you asked. If people don't see the funny side that's their problem. I suppose the thing is that the concept of vowels and consonants evolved from European languages which evolved primarily from Greek and Latin and so thinking that Welsh has lots of consonants is a flawed idea - we are merely comparing it to other languages which it does not have its roots in - likewise with the Hawaiian tongue. You see, humour always dissipates when you attempt to analyse it

i'm uncertain on the subject of the origins of Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi oi oi. What you're announcing ought to be real, i dont be responsive to. yet i resent being referred to as low value. What i be responsive to is that Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi oi oi has been chanted at cricket fits seeing that a minimum of 1976 and probable way in the previous that too.
