If you already work out, increase the intensity of your cardio workouts (cardio - and only cardio - will decrease fat %...not crunches). If you don't workout, walking is a good start (it will be intense enough if you don't already workout regularly- but after a while you will need to walk for longer, with hills, etc. so it's more time efficient to run, or join a gym and use the cardio equipment. Weight training will tone the areas that seem flabby, but only cardio will get rid of the fat no matter how much you work the muscle. Besides excercise, make sure you are eating every 3 to 4 hours since it's probably your metabolism that is slowing down, this will keep your metabolism up. Starving yourself or waiting too long to eat lowers your metabolism, which in turn makes you fat and overeat later. Try to eat as many vegetables, fruit, wholegrains, and water, and try to stay away from junky foods most of the time. Control your portions (to 1 serving size). You shouldn't worry about making your parents "suspicious" unless you're planning to take on an eating disorder or something - which is completely stupid and does more harm than good in the end. Everything that I suggested is healthy, and if anything your parents should be happy that you want to take on a healthier lifestyle (not considered a "diet", just simply a healthier way of living).

Your parents should support you regardless..but beside situps take and extra 100 steps aday...go beyond the normal in walking and try walk more places rather than take a ride or ride your bike. This is all normal at this age...your perfect the way GOD made you.

walking wont make you lose weight its not intense enough. Sit ups make muscle, whats the point of making muscle underneath the fat? You wont be able to see it i suggest you go with cardio work, running, biking , etc.
