THANK YOU for giving blood, today so few qualify to give and it is very needed. It is the greatest gift that you can give, life to someone else. It is NOT any different then samples just takes a little longer. The people who do it are excellent and you don't have to watch, you won't feel a thing. There is nothing to be nervous about. Just take satisfaction that you are doing a good thing and some how it will come back to you tenfold in some form.

It doesn't hurt any worse than having blood drawn for a test. I don't find it painful at all. I've given 1 gallon and 2 pints so far. If you drink a lot of water before you give, your veins will be bigger, so it will be easier for the nurse to get a good draw.

It doesn't hurt, it might feel a little wierd, but if you've had blood drawn before it's not a painful process. It's good to know you're helping others too.
