My beagles personality is as follows:
He can be very sweet to anyone he is familiar with.
He's always hyper
He gets bored easily (after an hour of playing with a toy, he throws it aside)
He has some listening and obeying issues
He is very sensitive
He is absolutely enegetic
He can be aggressive when he doesn't get his way (but not always)

It depends on the dog's personality, other than that every dog gets along with any dog.

Hello, A Beagle could get along with any dog! As long as it is socialized properly. It's fun to have dogs of different breeds, mixes it up a bit! My sister has an American Eskimo. (Lol) Enjoy!

A Groenendael is a herding breed, and will need a job to stay happy, or it will get in more trouble than your beagle. Definitely not a beagle-sitter.I say get another beagle. Or a cat, if he likes them,

Any sheep dog is usually very intelligent. It is not a breed that you should keep without lots of attention. Get yourself another beagle. They will keep each other busy.

Sheepdogs can be very protective. I would think that as long as both dogs are well socialized they would get along fine.
Kinda like our pyrenees with our corgi. The corgi can get on their nerves, but they don't do anything about it.

If you don't have the time for one dog, then how are you going to have time for two dogs? That's double the work and another dog to train.
