I have always been a straight-A student. I've only gotten a couple of B+ assignments in my life, and never anything lower than that. I have never had anything lower than an A- on my report card.
I just started high school a couple of weeks ago, and I'm in the most advanced core classes (math, English, history, science). I have to turn in my first English essay on Thursday, and I heard that my teacher is a harsh grader. What will I do if I get a bad grade? I don't know if I'll be able to handle it? I know English is definitely not my favorite class (though they say I'm a good writer). Even so, even a B would make me feel bad. What can I do to prepare myself? What will I do to make myself feel better?

P.S... It's so hard not being best in the class in my favorite & best subject --science.....................

Just relax. It's too early in the term to worry about anything. Do your best. Find out what things your teachers like and adjust accordingly as the term goes on.

And remember to have fun and enjoy high school!
