Either Lowe's or Home Depot will have the lowest price on sheetrock in your area. Since this is considered a commodity product, the prices will be the same at the two stores.

Good luck with your project.

At home depot and Lowe's they use extra pieces to space between sheets when they stack it to be sold these are scraps and if you asked I'm sure you could take what you need for free. I've done this on several occasions when on a job with a small patch needed and no Sheetrock on truck.

if you have a home depot or Lowe's near by ,that's about as cheap as it gets.the price fluctuates as often as lumber can.your not going to find a bargain price price somewhere.p.s. ,I just noticed you said 4inchx 8inch. If you are looking for that just cut up a peice of 4'x8'.
