Nothing much you can do but move on. That's the hard part but it's reality. You can't force her back into your life, it won't be real. It's ok to be single. I know getting your heart brokened is one of the worse feelings in the world, very, very painful and it may seem like you will NEVER get over that person; but you must live your life and know that everything happens for a reason, the way it was supposed to go-nothing you could have done to change things around for the better or worse. Hang out with your friends, keep yourself busy, meet new people (but do not rush to get into another relationship as it may be a rebound one and will only worsen matters). Enjoy your life, another woman will come along and she will not break your heart but mend it. Good luck.

I'm sorry that you've found yourself in this situation! First of all I don't think you should try to completely forget about this woman- it may seem like the best solution but sometimes we can't move on without really thinking about the situation. The more you try to stop thinking about her, the more difficult it will be. You need to think about what happened rationally, and take what you have learned from this terrible experience into your future. If you deal with your feelings you will be able to move on with peace of mind, rather than just trying to forget her, especially since you work with her. For this reason I don't think hypnotherapy is right for you- I suggest counseling instead. This will give you the chance to work through how you're feeling and seek closure so you can finally move on. I hope you find love again soon! All the best!

This is one of the most popular and painful subjects that happen to everyone sometime in their life. I have been through this a few times at my age and I'm 54.I sure do know about how you feel right now. I find it is easier to talk to people who care about you and that are understanding.Real friends that are more positive than negative.Someone who will listen more than talking.Do as much as you can so time will go by faster and help keep your mind off her as much as possible. The worst thing to do is nothing and wallow in pain, whys and what ifs. I hope this helps you at least a little.

Love can be really hurting and some guys became suicidal or murderous. Whatever it is, it is not worth the trouble crying over a relationship. Simple reason is can you foretell anyone to live with you for life. Can you be assured that she will not die, paralysed, coma etc. Can you bear that parting if that happens. What I meant is if you are experiencing a broken or terminal relationship, you must learn to forget and move on with your own life. You must not allow Love to control you but rather you control Love. Love yourself first before you love others.

To paraphrase your own advice on my question about the Yahoo home page, I'll say "I believe this is because you don't know how to let go yet. You have to be able to deal with change, that is how the world is, and you have to accept it and learn it. Good luck!"
Ever hear of practicing what you preach? Try letting her go on with her life while you go on to yours. Maybe if you changed your attitude you'd get somewhere.
